It also provides an e-mail services to notify users 1 day, week or month ahead of start event start date, registed users can subcribe per single event or all items per category. 

The Joomla! module works together with the MyEvents components, it show the upcoming events with category selection (or frontpage).

Scrolling through the upcoming events is Ajax-based.
